The biggest elephant in the room which J.W.'s haven't even recognised yet (let alone talk about) is this - the WTBTS now appears to have more cash than any time in its history, coupled with its lowest running costs ever.
I say "appears" because I'm still convinced (until shown differently) that the org's global fleecing was forced on them, and is based on need, not greed. All that money is going somewhere - but not into "preaching the good news."

if we go back five years from oct 2016 you get 2011. there was no jw.org, really pretty much no tablets, most people were using paper copies for everything.
now that's all changed.
Since the WTBTS is primarily about money, expect to see them create new revenue streams to compensate for the very many J.W.'s who cease contributing cash due to their religion being exposed as a money grabbing, pedophile protecting, real estate empire which portrays itself as "the true religion."
They'll have to recommend to the sheeple a "direct donation arrangement" whereby they will know who is financially contributing and who is not. They do it for field service hours - money is more important!
oh this is just worth sharing!.
so , as many know, it has been two years since i have attended any meetings, conventions, etc....nothing...cold turkey.. the hassles and problems the elders threw our way were monumental....so many details i could share, but suffice it to say, we stood firm and kept our dignity and poise and reminded them of "appropriate boundaries ".
one elder in particular has since spared no effort in ensuring that malicious gossip and slander has been spread so that witnesses have avoided us like the plague!.
Excellent example to give to someone who's supposed to "take the lead".
You forcefully proved to him and his family what Jesus himself said would be the identifying characteristic of a true Christian - showing love for one another.
It was never about preaching the good news of the kingdom - despite what J.W.'s generally believe.

@ Witness For Watchtower Reform - you don't reveal what the catalyst is for your revived trust in the WTBTS, but I'm certain that your need for an "organised" religion - any religion - with a visible, revered hierarchy is an emotion felt by many.
You think that the G.B. will effect the changes which you desire very soon; I have the same confidence that Mormons, the Vatican, and all of the thousands of Protestant religions will do the same - not!
Your faith in men to change their business model is wasted . Your org yoke is going to get heavier. Sorry.

the idea of sharing on a prayer for world peace with other religions, as i was told, was not acceptable in the eyes of jehovah.
now i am not here to say that now they are sharing in the way above mentioned, but certainly it seems like the wt has no issues in sharing their propaganda along with other religions and under the "pretense" that they mingle with the other religions of babylon the great.

once upon a time there was a "kiai master" who trained his students how to knock people over - no touch - with purely the power of his chi.

Their justification is "don't cast your pearls before swine." Sadly, they haven't examined the "pearls" to discover that many of them are man-made.
The demi-gods in Brooklyn have the same mentality as any despotic dictator, past or present - they demand total loyalty & obedience from the masses and will not hesitate to eradicate anyone who questions their authoritarianism.
